Dr. Meghan R.M. Schultz

Dr. Meghan Schultz received her Bachelor of Science Degree from the University of Notre Dame and her Doctor of Dental Surgery Degree from the University of Iowa College of Dentistry. Upon graduating from dental school, Dr. Schultz and her husband, Michael, relocated to St. Peters, Missouri, a suburb of St. Louis, where she practiced dentistry. She was born and raised in Maquoketa, Iowa and her family resides in Eastern Iowa. She knew her heart was still in Iowa, and looked for an opportunity to return to this area. She was excited to have the opportunity to call Eastern Iowa “home” once again.

Dr. Schultz is an active member of the American Dental Association, the Academy of General Dentistry, and the Iowa Dental Association.

Because dentistry is constantly evolving, Dr. Schultz knows the importance of being a life-long student. She consistently broadens her dental knowledge with many hours of continuing education in the dental specialties.

Dr. Schultz is excited and proud to call Dubuque her home. In her free time, she enjoys exploring Dubuque and the Mississippi River, traveling, gardening, and spending time with her family and friends. Dr. Schultz and her husband, Michael, are the proud parents of a daughter, Sadie Rose and a son, Blake Marcus. Now, free time is spent watching them discover new things every day.

Dr. Logan Yager

Dr. Yager is originally from Dubuque and is excited to return to his hometown. He earned his Bachelor of Science Degree from the University of Northern Iowa and achieved his Doctor of Dental Surgery Degree from the University of Iowa College of Dentistry. Logan is passionate about dentistry and happy to be treating patients in Dubuque.

Angie Zalaznik – Dental Hygienist

Angie is a registered dental hygienist. She received her degree from Iowa Central Community College. Angie grew up near Worthington, Iowa. She and her husband, Kevin, live in Epworth with their children, Philip and Janelle. Angie enjoys getting to know her patient’s and their families. She also enjoys learning about advances in the dental field and putting new technologies into practice to benefit patients. In her free time, Angie likes to spend time with her family.

Robyn Kapparos in Dubuque IA │ Schultz Family Dentistry

Robyn Kapparos – Dental Hygienist

Robyn is a licensed registered dental hygienist. She has been an RDH for 13 years, and has been working in the dental field for 18 years. She has a gentle touch that always puts patients at ease. Robyn is a life-long Dubuquer, and she and her husband, Travis, have two children. They enjoy watching their children play baseball and softball, camping, and biking. Robyn also enjoys geocaching and reading.

Jessica Spoonholtz – Dental Hygienist

Jessica received her degree from Des Moines Area Community College. She grew up in the Des Moines area and recently moved to Dubuque with her long-term boyfriend. Jess has been in the dental field since 2017 when she started as an assistant. She enjoys getting to know her patients and their families, spending time with her puppy Piper, and being outdoors with family and friends.

Brenda Duve – Dental Assistant

Brenda has been a registered dental assistant for over 20 years. She is a graduate of NICC and is certified in expanded functions. Brenda was raised in Dubuque and continues to live here and raise her family here. Brenda has been married to Ryan for 17 years and they have 2 sons, Douglas and Evan. Her family also has a special dog named Shadow. In her free time, Brenda enjoys boating on the river, biking with her family, taking long walks with her dog, and camping.

Mike Schultz – Office Manager

Mike is a graduate of the University of Notre Dame with a degree in Management Information Systems. After working in the technology sector for a number of years, he went back to school and received his Master of Business Administration degree. Mike is not only the office manager; he also heads the IT department and serves as the repair technician, marketing coordinator, and insurance specialist. Lucky Mike is also married to Dr. Schultz! Mike has two beautiful children. In his spare time he enjoys fishing, golfing, and spending time with his family.

Kayla Gudenkauf in Dubuque IA │ Schultz Family Dentistry

Kayla Gudenkauf – Administrative Assistant

Kayla was the most popular girl in her school, excelling at everything. After graduation, she traveled the world seeking adventure. After spending a few years dominating the professional surfing circuit, she gave it up to be a sherpa in the Himalayas. After saving countless lives on the most dangerous mountain in the world, she moved on to her next great adventure and joined the staff at Schultz Family Dentistry. Kayla approaches her job with a ferocity similar to that of her pet tiger, Leo. She currently holds 78 world records and has plans to make her first moon walk early next year.

Tatum Keck in Dubuque IA │ Schultz Family Dentistry

Tatum Keck – Administrative Assistant

Tatum grew up in Dubuque. After spending some time living in Madison, she moved back home to focus on her long-term goal of harassing Kayla. Tatum works with a laser focus to make Kayla’s day more difficult than it needs to be. Amazingly, she is pretty good at her job despite spending so much of her day picking on Kayla.
